Play
for Windows Phone 7
Except for iOS, built-in mobile music player apps suck.
Windows Phone 7 is a great mobile OS but the Music+Video app is not intuitive at all. The "Play" concept is to design a music mobile app in wich great user experience and graphic user interface would match perfectly, in a super easy-to-use environment.
Playlists
Create playlists, organize them easilly. The icons are made with coverarts piles of the song actually in your playslists.
Artists
Enjoy custumized artists pages, with some rich content besides the songs you own, like videos, pictures...
Albums
Sroll through the tracklist in a gorgeous coverart-based interface.
Navigation
The coolest thing about Windows Phone 7 is the "Metro" interface.
It's smooth, very visual, with great typography effects. That's pretty sharp and good looking.
The goal here was to keep the native strucutre and mechanism of the WP7 interface, then add the app a more intuitive use than the original "Music+Videos" app. It displays more visual effects so has each artist, band, album or song has its own visual environment.
Take advantage of the multitouch technology: navigate by swiping through your music very easily.
Live tiles support
Play also fits with the Windows Phone 7 home screen live tiles!
When playing some music, the basic logo icon transforms itself into a gorgeous tiny cover art. Simply click on it to be back anywhere you where before leaving the app.
Play also supports native WP7 controls just by pressing volume from anywhere.
